15 Months
_____________________________________________
Today Jace & Quinn turn 15 months old. It's hard to believe that they're already 15 months. WOW! They are quite the busy boys. It's true what they say. Boys are DEFINITELY different than girls! They are busy getting into everything. They love to play with blocks, balls, cars, babys, and Mackenzi's play blow dryer (that really makes noise). They still can't be apart from their blankies. They want them with them always. They love to suck their thumbs. Jace will hold his blanky and suck his thumb non-stop. We have nicknamed him "Linus" (the peanuts character from Snoopy). They have recently taken a liking to books too. They love to blow raspberries on your leg. But their ALL-TIME favorite things to do are the things they shouldn't be doing. They LOVE playing in the toilet (bathroom doors are almost always shut), playing in the cupboards under the bathroom sink, pushing buttons on the TV, DVD player, & cable box, getting into the linen closet, and eating dirt! It's very trying to keep them busy doing appropriate things, but just look at these boys...their silly smiles make you laugh (even when you're upset).

Jace: 23 lbs. 6 oz.
Words he can say:
Daddy, Hurreeeee(Hurley), MAMA, Maaaa (More), Cup, bye bye, puppy, sissy, sebee sebee (blankie), Shhhhhh (shoe), Bobo (Quinn), Yeah, go, bay (ball), Boppy (Boppa), Nana, Bompaa (Grandpa), Bawmaw (Grandma), Hi, oooohhhhh (no no), ROOOAAARRR (like a lion), AAAYYYY (Neigh like a horse), Annie (auntie)
Can use sign language to say: more, all done, and wave bye bye,
Jace loves to make people laugh. He'll make funny noises, clap, and do fake laughs just so people will laugh at him. He loves to follow Quinn around. He loves his daddy. He mostly walks, but runs when he's excited. He loves dogs. LOVES to sweep with my broom and follow me around when I vacuum.
Quinn: 22 lbs. 6 oz.
Words he can say:
Jace, SEE (See ya), tick tick (tickle), mmmmmm (more), yeah, go, Hurley, Deego (Diego), Hi, uh uh uh (no no no), buhbuh (baby), dog, pup pup (puppy), dada (daddy), go, ROOOAARRR (like a lion), uff uff (barking like a dog), shhh (shoe), No, up, cup,
Can use sign language to say: more, all done, and wave bye bye
Quinn is definitely a leader. He loves his mama. He RUNS nonstop. He's as quick as a cricket. He likes to climb on everything and anything he can. He follows his sissy around and enjoys taking her things (he runs away laughing). I hate to say it, but he's a boob man. He loves cleavage and will tickle you and try to pull your shirt down (we gotta put a stop to that one). Quinn doesn't like the vacuum at all. He has to sit on the couch until I'm done. He likes to sweep though.
I love these little guys to pieces. Seriously. They make my days brighter, make me laugh more, and make me LOVE being a mommy! I get such joy out of seeing them interact with each other. They play together, talk to each other in a special "twin language", and kiss each other. They truly are best friends. I hope that they'll always be close to each other and continue to have such a special relationship!

For my 200th post, I decided to do my first giveaway. It really has nothing to do with "boys", like this post. It actually has to do with girls! One lucky winner will receive a bow and flower clip (pictured here)! If you have a newborn/infant, I'll even throw in a headband that these will attach to. My mom, Jan, makes these adorable bows and clips that you'll almost always see in Mackenzi's hair. The size that I am giving away will work for any age.
All you have to do is leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite part of being a mom is. You don't have to be a follower to enter! Now come on, get to commenting!!!
This giveaway will end on Friday, May 22nd at noon. I look forward to hearing from you!! If you don't have a blog, make sure to leave your email address.

Mr. & Mrs. Jeff Rogina
Thursday we ventured out to Temecula to start off the festivities for Jeff & Kara's wedding (Matt's Brother). We couldn't believe that after a year and a half of planning, the big day was here! It was so exciting! Thursday, we had the rehearsal, I didn't get as many pics as I'd like, because I was in the wedding, so I took some before of the kids running around the BEAUTIFUL grounds!

After a very weepy night, she finally crashed out on mama.
The Bride & Groom
Four Generations
The morning of the wedding was all about the GIRLS! We started getting beautified around 9:30a.m. We went to the wedding site at 11. There we got our hair and makeup done. Kara had some jitters, but she did a great job keeping her cool. She only cried a few times! Man, those wedding nerves will get ya, I'm telling you! Mackenzi was so excited to get her hair done. After it was fixed, she took a nap. We had to redo it two more times before the actual wedding. That's two year olds for you!
Here comes the bride...

Someone forgot to tell Miss THANG that the wedding wasn't all about her! She danced ALL night. She even thought it was open-mic at the local karaoke bar. She pulled the mic away from the DJ twice to sing her favorite songs, Taylor Swifts Love Story and Bon Jovi's Livin' on a Prayer. Seriously Girlfriend! She's the kid that everyone thinks is cute, then talks crap about her parents because they let her be all that and a bag of chips. I think she's cute, but I was a bit embarrassed because she tried to steal the show.
It was a BEAUTIFUL WEDDING! The bride and groom looked absolutely amazing. The kids did great, which I was worried about. Thank you to all of Matt's family for helping out with the boys during the ceremony and reception. Grandma Kelli and G-ma watched the boys so Matt, Kenzi, and I could shake our rump out on the dance floor. Courtney Dapper was a TREMENDOUS help playing with Mackenzi. We love you guys! Thanks so much!
