Pumpkin Pickin'

We decided not to drive out to our favorite pumpkin patch this year.  Instead we just went to a local patch.  The kids still had a fabulous time picking the perfect pumpkins.  We even let them go on a few inflatables.   Bentley slept for a bit then woke up for some fun!!

Only 8 more days until Halloween...Yay!!!

Bentley's learned to feed herself...she's so proud of herself too!  She has been munching on puffs & green beans.  She's not very accurate yet, but she sure has fun trying!!

32 & 7

Last Sunday, My niece Kelsea and I celebrated our birthdays!!  I turned 32 (OH MY!) and Kelsea turned 7!  We had my family & Matt's family over for dinner to celebrate!!  It was so nice to have a house full of people that I love on my birthday.  We don't get to see my brother Ryan and his kids very often, so it's always wonderful when they can join us!  Even my cousin Diana & her family from Arizona stopped by while they were vacationing in California.  We had a yummy taco bar and cake/cupcakes for dessert!  It was the perfect way to spend my birthday!!

Baby Ladybugs

Six years ago, we had a little baby girl (4mo.) who dressed as a ladybug for her first Halloween.  

This year we have another baby girl (7.5mo.) dressed as a little ladybug for her first Halloween.

You know what they say, ladybugs are lucky.....How lucky are we!!!

(And seriously, how cute are they!?!)

Underwear Bandits

Last weekend, the boys wanted to ride around the block.  It was about 8am and we were all in our jammies still.  Matt told them they can only go if they put their underwear on their heads....so they did.  Silly kids.  I was in a bit of a panic....because they're way too little to ride around our block by themselves (it is a small block with all sidewalks, but still).  I felt a bit better that Kenzi went too.  She was in charge & in heaven!!

They're crazy kids!!  Now they want to go all the time, but we haven't let them.  If you're in our neighborhood, watch out for the underwear bandits...they might get their way again soon!!

7 Months Old

Bentley turned 7 months old in September (yep, a little late with this post).  It seems like her first year is just flying by in fast forward.  She is still absolutely perfect!  She's happy, learned to sit up, likes to eat, practices rolling...almost has it down, and still loves her brothers & sister.  She got two teeth this month.  They're the cutest teeth ever!!  She's still having tummy issues.  They're is no even ground with her...she's either one way or the opposite (if you catch my drift).  She had been sleeping pretty good, until last week.  Now she wakes up starving in the middle of the night.  She's going to take after her big sissy and not sleep through the night until a year, I think....I hope not though!! 

She's going to be turning 8 months in a little over a week....
