Valentine's Day with My Loves

 The kids had the day off of school on Valentine's day, so we decided to pack up and meet up with Dana and her kids at mom & dad's house.  The kids have such a blast exploring their backyard together.  Here are some silly pictures from our day.  Dana, Mom, and I each made a heart craft and put them in a bag.  We mixed them up and each got to choose one.  It was lots of fun and such a great idea (of course, my mom thought of it).

We dropped the kids off at Matt's parents house and spent a little time hanging out, just two of us.  A little shopping, a little dinner....it was perfect!!!

2nd Grade Performance

Mackenzi's school had a second grade performance celebrating America.  They sang patriotic songs and told stories about the history of America and our symbols.  Mackenzi had a speaking part.  She was a teacher and had to dress the part.  She was so excited in her dangle earrings and heals.  She did a great job, spoke clearly, remembered all her lines, and sang her little heart out.  It was  such a touching performance.  It definitely made you feel proud to be a part of this country.

RC Royals

Matt has started playing baseball in a Sunday league again.  He loves it.  His team made it to the playoffs so the kids and I watched the last 5 games or so.  Some of my favorite pictures from "last season". ...
