Where's Bentley??

Bentley's new trick is "peek-a-boo"!!  She gets so excited as she says, "ahhhh  booooo"!  Her hands don't always make it over her eyes, sometimes she covers her ears instead.  Either way, it's adorable!
Such a big girl!!!

Another Trip from the Tooth Fairy!

Our household got another visit from the tooth fairy a few weeks ago.  Mackenzi has had a wiggly front tooth forever.  It had worked it's way into a pretty crooked position, that wasn't very pretty.  We called it her snaggle tooth!  Daddy was finally able to pull it after weeks and weeks of thinking it was time!  I have to say, she looks pretty darn adorable missing her two front teeth!!

Student of the Month

Mackenzi was named student of the month for the month of December.  The teacher chooses one deserving boy and one deserving girl every month to receive this award.  They had an assembly where she was recognized.  Her teacher does not tell the students who is going to get the award, she secretly invites the parents and the students are surprised during the assembly.  Mackenzi was very proud of herself.  We were so very proud of her too!!  She is such a smart girl and an awesome student.  Matt, Bentley, and I were there to watch her get recognized at the assembly.  My parents, sister and Camden came too.  Mackenzi was thrilled!!!

Mackenzi and her teacher, Mrs. Gillespie

Mrs. Gillespie also wrote Mackenzi a special note, it read:

Dear Mackenzi,
I am so proud of all of your hard work in first grade.  You are becoming such a wonderful reader and writer.  It is fun reading the stories that you write.   You are a great listener and a terrific friend to others.  It is a joy to be your teacher.
Love, Mrs. Gillespie

**Proud Mama moment**

Way to go Mackenzi!!  We are so so proud of you and all of your hard work!!  Love you lots and lots!!

A Trip to the Museum

Over Christmas break, my mom took us to the California Sciencenter in L.A.  The kids had so much fun exploring the museum.  There was so much to see and so much to do.  The highlight was definitely the space shuttle.  It was pretty awesome.

They were pretending to hold the shuttle.

Ringing in The New Year

This year we rang in 2013 at the Ware's house, just like we do every year.  They always have an awesome pj party that is fun for the kids and the adults! We're so lucky to have the friends we do....

Christmas 2012

We had an awesome Christmas.  We were able to see all of our family on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day.  We kept with our traditional routine this year (Christmas Eve Mass, dinner with my family, Christmas morning with Matt's mom, Christmas day with Matt's dad.  We were all super spoiled this year.  I feel so blessed to have the life that I do and have the families that we do....

Disney World

We spent the next four days at Disney World.  We stayed at the Boardwalk Inn.  It was pretty sweet because we were right on a boardwalk with shops, restaurants, and nightly performers.  We visited the Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and Hollywood Studios.  The Magic Kingdom was the best (I think).  The kids had lots of fun riding the rides and meeting the characters.  My mom made them matching shirts...which were adorable!!

It's a good thing these kids have so many uncles!

Our trip definitely lived up to the magic of Disney, so many magical memories were made that will stay with us forever.   Thank you Rick & Wendy....We love you guys!!!
