Sweet, Spunky, & SEVEN!

Mackenzi turned SEVEN years old this week!!  I don't know how these past seven years have flown by so quickly.  She is getting to be such a big girl.  We celebrated her birthday by going to Farrell's Ice Cream Parlor & Restaurant with our families.  Then we came back to our house to open presents.  She had lots of items on her wish list...and boy, did she get spoiled!!  Clothes (some from Justice...ooh la la), beach bag, swimsuit, new bedding, money, toys, and accessories...this little big girl was in heaven!!

Uncle Cody gave her his old ipod and she got a speaker that we hooked to her bike...she's in heaven!

Father's Day

We celebrated the special fathers in our lives all weekend long.  On Saturday, we visited with my Dad & Grandpa at my parents house.  On Sunday, we had brunch with Matt's family & then the guys went golfing.  The boys were super excited to go golfing with the big boys (Daddy, Grandpa, Great Grandpa Ted, Great Gpa Joe, Uncle Jeff, Uncle Ty Ty, & Uncle Cody).  They looked so cute too!!  

Mackenzi,  Jace, Quinn, & Bentley are so lucky to have such a loving, caring Daddy.  

He is so involved in their lives and they love him so much!!

Two Wheels

One of the things on our Summer Bucket List was to teach the boys to ride their bikes with no training wheels.  Matt took them off, told the boys to get on and peddle....and they did.  They rode down the driveway, across the street, into the cul-de-sac, and stopped without falling.  I was shocked!!  I guess they were just ready.  Or maybe it's that their bikes are way too small for them or maybe it's because we waited way too long to have them do it.  Either way, they are now two-wheeling pros!!  We have only had a few minor falls since they learned.  Jace ran into a parked car...OOPS!!  Any free moment we have, they ask if we can ride bikes in the front yard!!  I'm so proud of them!!

Our Little Fishies

We have been spending a lot of time swimming this summer. A couple of weeks ago, we invited some friends over to swim with us at Grandpa & Grandma's house again.  Mackenzi, Jace, & Quinn have gotten to be pretty good swimmers.  I swear they're little fishes...they don't ever want to get out of the pool.  Jace & Quinn have even gotten brave enough to jump off the rocks without any kind of floatie noodle.
