Beautiful Spring Days

We have been so lucky to have some beautiful weather lately.  While Matt was at his baseball game on Sunday, I took the kids to the park.  It was perfect.  The kids had so much fun.  They humored me by posing on a tree for a few shots.  They had a blast swinging, sliding, climbing, and running around.  I just love watching them enjoy themselves.  

Toothless JACE

Jace has had a wiggly tooth for some time now.  The problem is that his adult tooth was growing behind the baby tooth, so it wasn't knocking it out.  It got so wiggly that one day when he was brushing his teeth, it knocked it sideways.  So, Daddy stepped in and pulled it right out.  He was so excited to go to school and show everyone.  He was even more excited to put it under his pillow for the tooth fairy.  She brought him a $5 bill and a shiny, gold coin.  He was thrilled!!!!

Spring Break

We tried to pack in lots of fun for spring break this year.  Matt took a couple days off of work to spend time with us.  It was an awesome week.

We started it off by going to the beach.  We stopped at the swap meet first, headed to lunch, then the beach, and ended the night at Matt's old college roommate's house for dinner with his family.  

Mackenzi parked out front of our house for a few hours trying to sell her last few boxes before cookie sales were over.  

We also headed to Knott's for a day.  The kids had never been.  We had so much fun.  There were hardly any crowds so that made it nice because we didn't really have to wait in lines.  The kids are kind of sissies when it comes to rides, but they still had fun. 

The kids went on the log ride a few times.  

We also used Rick & Wendy's pool a few times for swimming.  We hung out with Jeff & Kara and Melissa & Jeremy one day...then Dana and Kev another.  The kids LOVE hanging in the pool/spa.
